My name is Emily Mellisa Molinar, but on stage i am Emily Morales. I am 16 years old.I was born in Odessa, Texas, but raised in Salinas, California from the age 3 to now. I first started performing at the age 8 when i was intorduced to a local vocal class that was being held in a near by recreation centre. From there I took on many performances, Car shows, Christmas programs, funerals, and birthdays. at the age 9 1/2 I took on my first role on stage, casted as a froglet in Hartnell community college production of " Honk! The ugly duckling" There did i become aware that i not only wanted to become a singer, but an actress.

Continuing with Singing classes, i began to study the art of Theatre in all it's magic. I took me to another place i have never been before, away from the real world that didn't seem to be as pleasant to me. My Mother and father had divorced when i was about 2, and my mother moved us to California, while growing up without a father was tough, i still had amazing grandparents that helped me through. As I grew up my Father continuouly was in and out of my life, but this i have come to learn, has only made me a stronger and wiser person. At the age 13 i landed an amazing part in the world premire Rain of Gold as young Lupe Gomez ( the lead role for my age) through this experience, i had began to deveop a sense of knowlege of the stage, and a feeling of home.( Now till this day i can't live without the theatre.) After Rain of Gold my acting career took a boost up. I then landed the lead role in Mice of Men, as Curly's Wife, then was in La Casa de Bernarda Alba, Little shop of Horrors,as Crystal, Romeo and Juliet, as Juliet, and many others. Currently i am taking private singing lessons and continuing to study acting. In the end though, i promise everyone, i will succed.
